Office Profile

The Kratochvil Group serves a variety of clients in Crystal Lake and surrounding towns that lie northwest of Chicago and its suburbs. The office was established in 1998 when it began offering a wide array of services in the areas of investment products, estate analysis, retirement solutions, education funding, employee benefits and insurance. Its growth has been steady and consistent.

The Kratochvil Group is led by Managing Director Jim Kratochvil, whose focus is on developing an organization of honesty and integrity that provides the best possible financial solutions to its clients. The values of the office are growth, passion, personal responsibility and the love of life. 
 
Jim earned his finance degree from Illinois State University, where he first became involved with Northwestern Mutual as a college intern. Jim Kratochvil became a Financial Representative in 2000 and was appointed Managing Director in 2004. He now enjoys working with both his clients and their families, but also coaching and mentoring the representatives of the office.
 
Jim Kratochvil is a native of Crystal Lake. He resides in Woodstock with his with wife, Jen, daughter, Jordyn, and their Golden Retriever, Blu. Jim is President of the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County and involved with the Knights of Columbus. 
 
For leisure, he enjoys fishing, golfing, traveling and spending time with his family.
