Community Involvement

Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County
In March of 2009, The Kratochvil Group participated in Bowl for Kid’s Sake, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County. The group was able to raise over $10,000.00 for the organization, by filling sixteen lanes with bowlers, as well as becoming a sponsor for the event. Associates appreciate the event as a great way to support the organization and an opportunity to do something as a team that involves their families and children.

Crystal Lake Food Pantry
We also support the Crystal Lake Food Pantry with donations of food and money. The Crystal Lake Food Pantry offers temporary food assistance to Crystal Lake residents who qualify. Comprised of a group of volunteers from over twenty local churches, the Crystal Lake Food Pantry focuses on meeting the needs of the local hungry.

The Kratochvil Group hosts "Good Deeds Day"
The Kratochvil Group hosted their first annual "Good Deeds Day" on June 14, 2008. They started the day with an Adopt-a-Highway clean-up on Rakow Road in Crystal Lake. They also had a blood drive, which collected 28 units of blood, a food drive, raising over $400.00 and 200 pounds of food, and a clothing drive for Good-First Impressions. They included a free lunch for all donors with music and prizes throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who donated and showed their support for the community!
