Associates

Our financial representatives are the face of our organization. They not only represent the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, but they also represent the best interests of their clients. We are proud of their accomplishments, share in their enthusiasm and drive, and help motivate them to achieve the highest level of excellence.

We currently have the following interns working with our office amidst the additional financial representatives listed below:

 

Joshua Byrd

Financial Representative

Josh joined Northwestern Mutual after over ten years in the trading industry to have more solutions to offer to clients.  He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and a Woodstock resident with his wide Lindsay and three children.

Adam Cox

Field Director

Adam Cox became a Financial Representative in 2005 after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He originally hails from Manteno and currently lives in Gilberts with his wife Shawna, their baby girl Addalynn, and dog Boji. Adam is a Recruiting Field Director and Mentor in the office, where he helps coach and train new representatives build their practices. He also maintains an extensive clientele of his own. 

Kurt Eltvedt

Financial Representative

Kurt Eltvedt joined Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in 1998 and feels fortunate to be in the position to help others prepare for their future every day. He lives in Cary with wife, Vikki, and their daughter Tyler and their newborn son Keagan. Apart from work, Kurt Eltvedt enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and golfing.

Greg Imhoff

Financial Representative

Greg Imhoff became a Financial Representative in 1999 after earning an economics degree from Eastern Illinois University. He grew up in the Crystal Lake area and, although he has been living in Chicago for a few years, he plans on eventually making his home in McHenry County. Greg enjoys all sports, traveling, being outdoors along with his involvement on the KIC-Luekemia board.

 

Tim Joos

College Unit Director

Tim Joos was a College Financial Representative for two years until he recently graduated from University of Kentucky with a Finance degree. Tim is very involved in serving others. He recently returned from a mission trip to Haiti where he was one of a group of individuals digging trenches for the villages water supply. He is very active and loves helping people. Tim resides in Crystal Lake and enjoys football, golf, working out and loves to learn new things.

Chris Kimmell

Financial Representative

Chris is a graduate of Purdue University. He grew up in Kankakee, IL and moved up to Crystal Lake to start his career with Northwestern Mutual. Chris recently joined our Leadership program to get involved in coaching and mentoring new Financial Representatives. Outside the office, Chris enjoys spending time with Kendra and their dog Roxy, and loves all sports!

Ben Krich

Financial Representative

Ben joined Northwestern Mutual in 2011 after a career in both restaurant management and the consumer loan business.  He has now found the area he can have the most impact on his clients, which is what attracted him to this career.  Ben lives in Crystal Lake with his wife Mandee and their 4-year old son Oakley. 

Julie Kyle

Financial Representative

Julie Kyle was introduced to Northwestern Mutual Financial Network by Wendy Spizzirri, a Field Director with The Kratochvil Group. Julie spent the last ten years of her career working for a local corporate and estate planning law firm. She is a graduate of DePaul with a Business Administration degree and currently resides in Pingree Grove. Julie is married to Luke and they have four children: Payton, Liam, Gavin and Lily. She loves spending time with family and being outdoors.

 

Chad LaMont

Financial Representative

Chad LaMont started working at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network as an Intern in his last semester of college. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in May 2008 and became a Financial Representative. Chad has worked many years for his family business in truck and trailer sales. Chad lives in Lake Villa and enjoys racing cars and snowboarding in his spare time.

Bryan Loeffler

Financial Representative

Bryan Loeffler changed careers from Retail Management to become a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual.  He hails from Frankfort, IL but now lives in Lake In The Hills.  Bryan has a degree in Business Administration along with a Masters in Liberal Arts from Valparaiso University. 

Evan Lugo

Financial Representative

Evan Lugo began his career full-time in December after his successful internship earned him the Power of 10 Award.  He recently graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Marketing degree.  He is from Lake in the Hills, IL.

Chris McCarthy

Financial Representative

Chris McCarthy joins The Kratochvil Group after a successful career in industrial equipment and supplies. where he was in sales and sales management.  Chris was introduced to Northwestern Mutual through a job posting of a Marquette alum he was networked through.  He graduated from Marquette with a Marketing degree in 2004 and currently lives in Crystal Lake.

Kim Pajakowski

Financial Representative

Kim became a Financial Representative following graduation from University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She is from Barrington, IL where outside of work she enjoys anything equestrian, snowboarding and spending time with family and friends. 

Wendy Spizzirri, CLU®, ChFC®, CLTC

Field Director

Wendy Spizzirri first became involved with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in 1998 as a college intern. After graduating from Knox College, she became a full-time Financial Representative and has enjoyed having a positive impact on the lives of her clients and their families. Wendy lives in South Elgin with husband, Dave, their sons, Mathew and Alex, and their Golden Retriever, Clayton. Aside from family and her business, Wendy is an avid golfer. 

Thomas Stock, CLU®, ChFC®

Financial Advisor

Thomas Stock has been a Financial Representative for more than 21 years. He is married to Julie, and the couple has three children: Caitlin, Jillian and Dan.  In his spare time, Thomas Stock enjoys golfing with good friends and new acquaintances. He is a Charter Member in the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club, a Past Chairman of the Board of the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce and a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the Village of Lake in the Hills.

Ireth Vilchis

Financial Representative

Ireth was introduced to Northwestern Mutual by our intern Max Ruszkowski.  She decided to make a career change from working with cosmetics and get into this to have an impact on people in a different way.  Ireth hopes to work a lot within the hispanic community and leave families and business owners in a better place.  She earned her business degree from Columbia College in Crystal Lake and currently resides in Woodstock, where she was raised.
